"From The Old World"

Suki Medencevic is a
cinematographer and
photographer, born in Bosnia
and living in Los Angeles
since 1991.
Prior to his coming to the
US he earned his MFA in
cinematography at renowned
National Film School, FAMU,
Prague, Czech Republic.
Suki is actively involved in
a large variety of visual
media related to
cinematography, but
photography always had a
special place for him.
In summer 2001 he exhibited
his work in La Photo
Gallery, Santa Monica.
Titled "From The Old World"
the exhibit represented
Suki's impressions of
Prague, an ancient city full
of mystery and beauty.
The exhibit was a tremendous
success, and the show was
extended over a period of
three months. The pictures
exhibited at II Forno
represent only a few samples
of his collection "From The
Old World". |
